By installing the Conformica app from the Shopify App Store you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't install the app.

Conformica is a Shopify app that helps you meet the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU 2023/988) on your storefront. We render a Markets-aware product safety widget, translate your safety information into the 24 official EU languages, and watch the EU Safety Gate weekly report for matches against your catalog.

You remain legally responsible for GPSR compliance. Conformica is a tool that surfaces and presents your data; it is not a legal-advice service. Determining whether your products fall under GPSR, whether your warnings are sufficient, and whether your party profiles are accurate is your responsibility as the economic operator.

Pricing is published at conformica.eu/#pricing. We offer a 14-day free trial starting at install. After the trial, you choose Basic (€19 / mo) or Pro (€29 / mo). Annual plans, if shown, billed up-front at a discount.

Billing is handled exclusively by Shopify Managed App Pricing. Shopify charges your Shopify account in your store currency; we never see or store your card. Refunds are governed by Shopify's billing policy.

Cancel anytime from inside the Shopify admin (uninstall the app, or downgrade in the Shopify subscription manager). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We don't refund partial periods, but we don't charge for any future period either.

Uninstalling removes the widget from your storefront within minutes. 48 hours after uninstall Shopify sends us the shop/redact webhook and we delete all your data (see the Privacy Policy).

You agree not to:

• Set up party profiles or safety information you do not have the right to use
• Use Conformica to attempt to launder responsibility for products you do not legally sell or import
• Abuse the translation pipeline by injecting prompts, malicious payloads, or content unrelated to product safety information
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer our service, beyond what the Shopify Admin API natively allows
• Resell or sublicense access to Conformica without our written consent

We aim for 99.9% monthly availability of the admin app and the storefront widget, excluding planned maintenance and incidents on Shopify, Vercel, or Supabase that cascade into our service. We don't currently offer a contractual SLA; if your business needs one, contact us.

Conformica is provided as-is. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular regulatory outcome. EU Safety Gate matches surface alerts as they are published by the European Commission; we don't guarantee detection of every relevant alert and we are not the regulator.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Conformica is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost goodwill, or fines from third parties.

Nothing here limits liability we cannot legally exclude (e.g. for gross negligence, fraud, or where mandatory EU consumer-protection rules apply).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms (including the acceptable-use rules), if Shopify suspends your store, or if your account has been in delinquent billing for more than 30 days. We will email you before terminating except where immediate action is required to protect the service or other merchants.

We'll email merchants at least 30 days before any material change. Continued use after the change takes effect counts as acceptance. If you don't accept, uninstall the app within the notice window.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies in the state and federal courts of Delaware — except where mandatory EU consumer- protection law gives a merchant the right to sue in its own jurisdiction, in which case that mandatory right applies.
